Indiana Governor Mike Braun released his public schedule for the week of June 1, according to a May 29 announcement. The schedule includes three main events in Indianapolis and at Fort Harrison State Park.
On Tuesday, June 2, Braun will be joined by other elected officials at the Indiana Statehouse to ceremonially sign Senate Enrolled Act 76, known as Indiana’s FAIRNESS Act. The event is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time in the Governor’s Office. According to the announcement, the legislation aims to make Hoosiers safer through improved immigration enforcement.
The following day, Wednesday, June 3, Braun will make an affordability announcement at 1:00 p.m., also in the Governor’s Office at the Indiana Statehouse. Details regarding this announcement were not specified in the release.
On Thursday, June 4, Braun and First Lady Maureen Braun will join representatives from Indiana’s Department of Natural Resources to cut a ribbon on one of forty-three playgrounds being updated across state parks with support from Lilly Endowment. This event will take place at Fort Harrison State Park’s Shafter Playground at 11:30 a.m.
