The Indianapolis Colts announced on Apr. 30 that they have waived defensive end Viliami Fehoko Jr. and linebacker Joseph Vaughn, released guard Bill Murray, and waived-injured tackle Jack Wilson. If Wilson is not claimed by another team, he will revert to the Colts Injured Reserve list.
These roster moves are part of the team’s ongoing efforts to shape its lineup ahead of the upcoming season.
Fehoko Jr., who stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 267 pounds, was first signed to the Colts practice squad in November 2025. He previously participated in offseason programs with both the Washington Commanders and Dallas Cowboys, spending his rookie year on injured reserve after being drafted by Dallas in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of San Jose State.
Vaughn, measuring 6-foot-3 and weighing 238 pounds, joined Indianapolis with a reserve/future contract earlier this year after initially signing as an undrafted free agent in August 2025. During his college career at UCLA and Yale, Vaughn played in a total of 44 games where he recorded notable defensive statistics including tackles for loss, sacks, interceptions—two returned for touchdowns—and forced fumbles.
Murray joined the Colts practice squad last December but has appeared in four career NFL games across stints with Indianapolis, New England Patriots, and Chicago Bears since entering the league as an undrafted free agent from William & Mary in April 2020.
Wilson was added to the Colts’ practice squad during October 2024 but spent all of last season on injured reserve. Before joining professional football, Wilson played basketball at several universities before switching to football at Washington State where he played along the offensive line over two seasons.
These changes reflect ongoing adjustments as teams evaluate their rosters following offseason activities.
